Edward Dodge is born in Salamanca, New York to Ralph Edward and Eunice Elvira Dodge.

1958

Edward Dodge receives a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University.

1962

Edward Dodge receives a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University.

1962

Dr. Dodge becomes a rotating intern at L.A. County General Hospital.

1964

Dr. Dodge is assigned to the Federal Reformatory of the U.S. Public Health Service Bureau of Prisons.

1964

Dr. Dodge becomes a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service.

1966

Dr. Dodge becomes a resident in general preventive medicine at Johns Hopkins University.

1967

Dr. Dodge receives a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.

1967

Dr. Dodge becomes an assistant professor of public health at Haile Selassie University in Gondar, Ethiopia.

1970

Dr. Dodge becomes a staff physician at Frontier Nursing Service in Hyden, Kentucky.

1971

Dr. Dodge is appointed medical director of the Citrus-Levy County Health Department in Inverness, Florida.

1974

Dr. Dodge becomes an emergency department physician at Waterman Memorial Hospital in Eustis, Florida.

Dr. Dodge ventures into private practice in Inverness, Florida.

Dr. Dodge receives the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.

1977

Dr. Dodge is appointed president of the Citrus County Medical Society.

1987

Dr. Dodge receives the Citizen of the Year Award from the Citrus County Chronicle.

1991

Dr. Dodge serves as the editor of Florida Family Physician.

1994

Dr. Dodge is appointed medical director of the Citrus Primary Care Network and becomes a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida.

2005

Dr. Dodge authors “Tim’s Story-A Spiritual Perspective of Health.”

2010

Dr. Dodge becomes an adjunct professor in the faculty of health sciences at Africa University in Zimbabwe.
