1930

Mr. Campbell is born to Lois Raymond and La Vada Henager-Campbell.

1953

Mr. Campbell receives a Bachelor of Science in geology from Tulsa University.

1957

Mr. Campbell receives a Master of Science in geology from The University of Oklahoma and begins his career as a geologist with the Lone Star Producing Company.

1958

Mr. Campbell marries Janet Gay Newland.

1960

Mr. Campbell becomes an active member of the Last Frontier Council with the Boy Scouts of America.

1963

Mr. Campbell is appointed education chairman of the Eagle District.

1965

Mr. Campbell becomes a district geologist and geological consultant with Tenneco Oil Company.

1977

Mr. Campbell becomes an exploration manager at Leede Exploration.

1980

Mr. Campbell is appointed president of Earth Hawk Exploration, Inc.

1983

Mr. Campbell serves the division exploration manager at PetroCorp., Inc.

1985

Mr. Campbell becomes an active member of the School of Geology and Geophysics Alumni at the University of Oklahoma.

1988

Mr. Campbell joins the board of directors and the advisory council at the University of Oklahoma.

1989

Mr. Campbell receives a Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists.

1995

Mr. Campbell retires as a geologist and begins consulting work.

1997

Mr. Campbell serves as president of the Elders Council of the Red Earth Indian Center.

1999

Mr. Campbell receives the Spirit Award from the Elders Council of the Red Earth Indian Center.

2002

Mr. Campbell is a gubernatorial appointee of the Native American Cultural and Education Authority.

2003

Mr. Campbell receives the Oklahoma Governor’s Arts Award for Community Service.

2008

Mr. Campbell receives the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy at the University of Oklahoma.

2010

Mr. Campbell receives the Legends Award from the Oklahoma Geological Foundation.
