Becomes an instructor at Trinity College Nabbingo in Kampala, Uganda.

1967

Becomes an instructor at the University of the West Indies at St. Augustine in Trinidad and Tobago.

1968

Becomes director of placement and follow up at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida.

1969

Named Teacher of the Year by Hillsborough Community College.

1975

Becomes a staff instructor at the AACTion Center of Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, South Carolina.

1976

Receives a Doctor of Education from Nova University.

1980

Appointed dean of the Georgetown Campus of Horry-Georgetown Technical College in South Carolina.

1986

Becomes dean of instruction at Northeast State Technical and Community College in Blountville, Tennesee.
