Dr. Kuhlman is born in Superior, Nebraska to Armine Reinhardt and Ivy Eilean Kuhlman.

1968

Dr. Kuhlman receives a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.

1970

Dr. Kuhlman receives a Master of Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

1970

Dr. Kuhlman becomes a fellow of the National Science Foundation.

1971

Dr. Kuhlman marries Joyce Marie Hansen.

1972

Dr. Kuhlman receives a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

1972

For the next seven years, Dr. Kuhlman serves as an engineer with E.I. Dupont & Co. in Seaford, Delaware; Martinsburg, West Virginia; and Wilmington, Delaware.

1979

Dr. Kuhlman serves as an engineer at Shell Development Co. in Houston, Texas.

1993

Dr. Kuhlman is appointed vice president of technical development at Tuboscope Vetco International Environmental Services Incorporated in Houston, Texas.

1997

Dr. Kuhlman becomes principal of MK Tech Solutions in Houston, Texas.

2011

Dr. Kuhlman becomes a Distinguished Lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
