1948

Mr. Smith studies coursework at Baldwin Wallace University.

1954

Mr. Smith receives a Bachelor of Art from Ohio University and joins the U.S. Air Force.

1958

Mr. Smith becomes a diplomate of the Air Education and Training Command of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, and serves as a representative with Flying Tiger Line, Inc. in Los Angeles, California.

1961

Mr. Smith becomes a principal at a publishing representative business in Cleveland, Ohio.

1962

Mr. Smith marries Nannette June Boyd.

1964

Mr. Smith becomes a publisher at Penton Publishing Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.

1990

Mr. Smith becomes a special advisor on the American Foreign Policy Council in Washington, D.C.

2017

Mr. Smith is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, and is named a Distinguished Humanitarian by Marquis Who’s Who.
