Dr. Arison is born in New York, New York to Theodore and Bertha Moselle Arison.

1943

Dr. Arison receives a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Michigan.

1944

Dr. Arison serves as a chemist on the Dupont Manhattan Project, as well as a chemist at the University of Chicago Hanford Site in Washington.

1945

Dr. Arison joins the U.S. Army.

1947

Dr. Arison serves as a research chemist with Merck & Co., Inc.

1951

Dr. Arison receives a Master of Science in organic chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering).

1967

Dr. Arison earns a PhD in organic chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute.

2005

Dr. Arison becomes a consultant for the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility.

2006

Dr. Arison marries Arlene Cacoso Peterson.

2008

Dr. Arison joins the board of trustees of the New Jersey Festival Orchestra.

2015

Dr. Arison presents “My Personal Experiences on the Manhattan Project: The Making of the Atomic Bomb” at the Old Guard of Summit.
