Mr. Husby is born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Olaf and Elsie Louise Husby.

1945

Mr. Husby joins the U.S. Navy.

1952

Mr. Husby receives a Bachelor of Science from South Dakota State University.

1952

Mr. Husby becomes a student engineer, junior assistant, senior engineer, and manager of new products at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio.

1972

Mr. Husby becomes the engineering manager and vice president of the engineering lighting division at Harvey Hubbell, Inc. in Christiansburg, Virginia.

1976

Mr. Husby is appointed president of Elliptipar Inc. in West Haven, Connecticut.

1978

Mr. Husby becomes a fellow engineer and manager of the engineering section at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

1982

Mr. Husby becomes the engineering manager of new products development in the LTG Products Division of Cooper Industries.

1985

Mr. Husby becomes the utility sales manager of the Central Region of Cooper Lighting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

1989

Mr. Husby receives the Distinguished Service Award from the Illuminating Engineers Society.

1990

Mr. Husby steps into the role of chief executive officer at Husby & Husby Inc. in Madison, Minnesota.
