Mr. Mackey is born to parents, William Arthur and Joan Margaret Mackey.

1964

Mr. Mackey becomes an engineering student apprentice in the Aero Engine Division of Rolls-Royce, Limited in Glasgow, Scotland.

1968

Mr. Mackey receives a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London.

1969

Mr. Mackey returns to the Aero Engine Division of Rolls-Royce Limited as a manufacturing engineer.

1970

Mr. Mackey receives a Master of Science in engineering from Imperial College London and later immigrates to the United States.

1972

Mr. Mackey receives a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and becomes a financial analyst at Tucker Anthony & R.L. Day in Boston, Massachusetts.

1974

Mr. Mackey becomes special projects engineer in the Fafnir Bearings Division of Textron, Inc. in New Britain, Connecticut.

1976

Mr. Mackey becomes a manufacturing controller for the Americas Group of Loctite Corporation (now Henkel Corporation) in Newington, Connecticut.

1978

Mr. Mackey becomes a naturalized U.S. citizen and is promoted to manager of operations in the Systems Division of Loctite Corporation.

1980

Mr. Mackey is promoted to manager of corporate productivity improvement at Loctite Corporation.

1983

Mr. Mackey is appointed president of Signum Microsystems, Inc. in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

1985

Mr. Mackey becomes worldwide manager of remote elevator monitoring for Otis Elevator Company in Farmington, Connecticut.

1988

Mr. Mackey becomes a senior consultant at Coopers & Lybrand LLP in Hartford, Connecticut.

1992

Mr. Mackey receives the President’s Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

1998

Mr. Mackey is appointed president of Axiom Laboratories, Inc. in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

2001

Mr. Mackey becomes an adjunct professor in the School of Engineering, Science and Technology at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut.
