Born to Franklin and Helen in Burlington, IA.

1964

Marries his wife, Mary Ellen; Is a president’s scholar at Regis University.

1965

Earns a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Regis University.

1967

Achieves a Master of Science in biochemistry from Purdue University.

1971

Obtains a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado

1971

Serves the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Oakland, CA until 1979.

1972

Becomes a member of the American College of Radiology.

1975

Is board-certified in diagnostic radiology.

1975

Is head of diagnostic radiology and training at the U.S. Naval Medical Center until 1999.

1977

Becomes a member of the Colorado Radiology Association.

1979

Becomes a member of the Radiological Society of North America.

1981

Founds St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Collins, CO.

2012

Retires from his diagnostic radiology practice after 34 years affiliated with Poudre Valley Hospital, University of Colorado Health.
