1961

Is a playground supervisor within L.A. City Schools through 1964.

1964

Earns a Bachelor of Arts from California State College.

1964

Teaches elementary school within Montebello Unified Schools in California and retires in 2009.

1973

Is a representative for the Montebello Credit Union through 1975.

1979

Is the recipient of the Honorary Service Award from the Parent Teachers Association.

1980

Volunteers in Monterey Park, CA, by making Christmas Baskets for those in need; gathers supplies for The Battered Women Shelter.

1980

Becomes a Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church; helps decorate the alter for the holiday season to present.

2001

Is the president of the American Association of University Women through 2003 and presently maintains membership.

2001

Receives the Foundation Gift Award in her name from American Association University of Women for Women’s Education through 2002.

2006

Is a school site representative, faculty club chair and PTA member of La Merced Elementary and retires in 2009.

Receives a 45 Year Pin upon retirement from the Montebello Unified School District.

Receives The Albert Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, The Humanitarian Award, and the Top Educators Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
