Ms. Lee is born in Gorman, Texas to Olan and Onis Lee.

1959

Ms. Lee takes courses at Texas Woman’s University.

1961

Ms. Lee receives an Associate of Science from Tarleton State University.

1963

Ms. Lee receives a Bachelor of Art in fine arts from the University of North Texas.

1963

Ms. Lee is appointed head of the art department at Ector High School in Odessa, Texas.

1964

Ms. Lee takes postgraduate courses at Texas Tech University.

1964

Ms. Lee receives the Designer-Craftsman Award from the El Paso Museum of Art.

1965

Ms. Lee takes postgraduate courses at Institute Allende in Mexico.

1967

Ms. Lee becomes self-employed, working in the art gallery business.

1969

Ms. Lee receives a lifetime membership to the Odessa Chamber of Commerce for outstanding community service.

1972

Ms. Lee becomes a certified personal property appraiser through the American Society of Appraisers.

1975

Ms. Lee is appointed president of the Ector County Democrat Women’s Club.

1977

Ms. Lee is an honoree and presenter for President Carter’s Inauguration hosted by the Texas State Society.

Ms. Lee is appointed president of the National Texas Association of Art Dealers.

Ms. Lee serves on the board of directors of the North American Art Exchange.

Ms. Lee becomes the chairperson of the acquisition committee of the Odessa Art Museum.

1993

Ms. Lee becomes the Odessa appointee for the Texas Commission for the Arts.

2000

Ms. Lee takes courses at the University of Southern California.

Ms. Lee receives the State Area Award from the YMCA of Odessa.

2017

Ms. Lee is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
