Born to Dr. Dermot Lohr and Blanche (Grimes) Lohr on June 6.

1961

Obtains a Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.

1961

Is an intern and resident at the University of North Carolina Hospitals through 1963.

1964

Is a flight surgeon with the U.S. Naval School of Aviation Medicine and U.S. Marines, serving in Vietnam.

1966

Is a resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals until 1970.

1970

Is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Women’s Center of Lexington until 2020.

1996

Is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Lexington Medical Center until 2020.

2008

Is the residency program instructor at the Lexington Medical Center until 2020.

2020

Commences his retirement.

2021

Receives the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award, the highest civilian award given out in North Carolina by the governor.

2023

Holds membership with the Davidson County Medical Society, Southern Medical Association, Robert A. Walsh OB/GYN Society and Nathan A. Womack Surgical Society.

2023

Maintains fellowship with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
