Dr. Heyman serves as a general science teacher at the junior high school level.

Dr. Heyman joins the faculty of Group Relations Ongoing Workshop.
1973
Dr. Heyman becomes a certified school psychologist through the New York State Department of Education.
1979
Dr. Heyman becomes an adjunct professor at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
1989
Dr. Heyman becomes a full professor at Touro College in New York City, New York.
1992
Dr. Heyman becomes certified in biofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (now the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance).
2010
Dr. Heyman becomes certified in counseling through the Institute for Disaster Mental Health.
