Born to Robert D. Halladay and Mary Mae (Blough) Halladay in Lexington, KY.

1976

Earns a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Kentucky.

1976

Works as a rubber chemist for the Parker Seal Company (Now Parker Hannifin Corporation) in Lexington, KY, through 1979.

1979

Works as a corporate rubber chemist for the Masco Corporation in Taylor, MI, through 1981.

1981

Works as a manager of material and process engineering within the Seal Division of LORD Corporation in Shelton, CT, through 1983.

1984

Works as a staff engineer and senior staff engineer for the Mechanical Products Division of the LORD Corporation, in Erie, PA, through 2007.

1990

Joins the Northwest Pennsylvania Concert Band in Edinboro, PA, as a French horn player and continues in this role.

2007

Is a fellow of the LORD Corporation in Erie, PA, through 2013.

2013

Is senior fellow of the LORD Corporation in Erie, PA, through 2018.

2015

Co-authors “Sources of Hysteresis in Rubber Compounds” for the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society, Paper 11.
