Dr. McChesney receives a Bachelor of Science in chemical technology from Iowa State University of Science and Technology.

Dr. McChesney becomes a National Science Foundation fellow.

1964

Dr. McChesney receives a Master of Arts in botany from Indiana University.

1965

Dr. McChesney receives a Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry from Indiana University.

Dr. McChesney joins the faculty of The University of Kansas.
