Mr. Forrester is born in Grass Valley, Oregon to Charles Scott and Edna Minna Forrester.

1951

Mr. Forrester receives a Bachelor of Science in agriculture from Washington State University.

1951

Mr. Forrester receives a Bachelor of Engineering from Washington State University.

1951

Mr. Forrester becomes a teacher of agricultural education for Ellensburg School District in Washington.

1953

Mr. Forrester marries Vivian Eloise Roberts.

1954

Mr. Forrester serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

1960

Mr. Forrester serves as a liaison officer at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

1969

Mr. Forrester receives the State Teacher of the Year Award from the Washington Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association.

1971

Mr. Forrester is appointed president of the Washington Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association.

1972

Mr. Forrester becomes supervisor of agricultural education in the office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in Olympia, Washington.

1982

Mr. Forrester is appointed director of agricultural education in the office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

1984

Mr. Forrester receives the Outstanding Service Award from the National Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association. He is also presented with this award in 1987.

Mr. Forrester receives the Meritorious Service Award from the Washington Commission for Vocational Education.

Mr. Forrester becomes an administrator of vocational education in the office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

1991

Mr. Forrester becomes owner and consultant at Forrester Consulting Service in Olympia, Washington.

Mr. Forrester receives the Governor’s Citation from the State of Washington.

1994

Mr. Forrester joins the board of directors of the American Association of Retired Persons.

Mr. Forrester is appointed president of Thurston County Retired Teachers.
