Becomes the first Eagle Scout of Troop 91 in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York.

1963

Graduated from Sayville High School.

1966

Becomes an assistant junior geologist at Consolidated Mining Co. Canada in Montreal, Quebec.

1968

Serves in the U.S. Navy for four years, becomes a Vietnam veteran. Receives a B.S. from Michigan Technological University.

1972

Receives a diploma from the Divers Institute of Technology.

1973

Becomes a commercial oil field diver-welder for Taylor Diving in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

1983

Receives a diploma from the Institute of Electronic Technology.

1989

Becomes clinical director of MedForce International in Metairie, Louisiana.

1989

Becomes a hyperbaric chamber operator at JoEllen Smith Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Receives an Associate of Science in respiratory care from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Louisiana.
