1965

Dr. Imai exhibits in various group shows over the next nine years.

1976

Dr. Imai receives a Bachelor of Arts in human services from the University of California Los Angeles.

1978

Dr. Imai receives a Master of Arts in art therapy from Goddard College.

1978

Dr. Imai becomes an art therapist with the Jeffrey Foundation in Los Angeles, California.

1979

Dr. Imai becomes a program director, art therapist, and joins the founding staff of the Adult Day Center of the Older Persons Information and Counseling Association in Los Angeles, California.

1980

Dr. Imai becomes an art therapist with the ARTSreach Program at the University of California Los Angeles.

1983

Dr. Imai becomes a fellow of the University of California Los Angeles and the University of Southern California at the Long-Term Care Gerontology Center.

1983

Dr. Imai receives a Master of Arts in psychology from International College.

1985

Dr. Imai becomes a stress management instructor for the Cardiac Therapy Group at the YMCA in Los Angeles, California.
