Dr. Steinwachs serves as a reserve officer and captain in the U.S. Army.

1970

Dr. Steinwachs receives a Master of Science from the University of Arizona.

1973

Dr. Steinwachs receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Johns Hopkins University.

1973

Dr. Steinwachs becomes an assistant professor of health services administration at Johns Hopkins University.

1979

Dr. Steinwachs becomes an associate professor of health policy and management at Johns Hopkins University.

1982

Dr. Steinwachs is appointed director of the Health Services Research and Development Center at Johns Hopkins University.

1986

Dr. Steinwachs is promoted to full professor of health policy and management at Johns Hopkins University.

1994

Dr. Steinwachs is appointed chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins University.
