Born to Brady Cashwell (Jr.) and Gertrude Virginia (Hamilton) Boger in Salisbury, NC.

1968

Earns a Bachelor of Science in management science from the University of Rochester; Serves in the U.S. Navy until 1975.

1969

Achieves a Master of Science in management science from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS).

1973

Marries Gail Lorraine Zivna on June 23.

1975

Is a Flood fellow until 1976 and a research assistant until 1979 at the University of California, Berkeley.

1977

Attains a Master of Arts in statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.

1979

Obtains a Doctor of Philosophy in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Is an assistant prof. of economics, associate prof. and full prof. at the Naval Postgraduate School, continuing in the latter role.
