Dr. Robison is born in Orlinda, Tennessee to Fount Love and Martha Desha Robison.

1962

Dr. Robison receives a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University.

1962

Dr. Robison becomes a teacher at Dag Hammarshjold Junior High School in Wallingford, Connecticut.

1965

Dr. Robison receives a Master of Library Science from Emory University.

1965

Dr. Robison becomes an assistant librarian, architecture librarian, and lecturer at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.

1967

Dr. Robison becomes head of circulation at Georgia State University.

1971

Dr. Robinson becomes an assistant professor and then associate professor at Georgia State University.

1975

Dr. Robison becomes a full professor and associate librarian at Georgia State University.

1982

Dr. Robison receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Georgia State University.

1989

Dr. Robison receives the Woman of Achievement Award from the YWCA.

1998

Dr. Robison earns the title of Professor Emeritus at Georgia State University.
