Mr. Crawford is born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

1971

Mr. Crawford serves as aide to the president of Coral Ridge Properties, Inc. in Coral Springs, Florida.

1972

Mr. Crawford receives a Bachelor of Science in commerce with distinction from the University of Virginia.

1975

Mr. Crawford receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Stetson University College of Law.

1975

Mr. Crawford is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and becomes sole proprietor of William G. Crawford, Jr. Attorney at Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

1976

Mr. Crawford is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District.

1978

Mr. Crawford is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court.

1984

Mr. Crawford becomes an attorney, shareholder, and director of Hodges, Gossett, McDonald, Gossett & Crawford, P.A. in Hollywood, Florida.

1988

Mr. Crawford is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

1989

Mr. Crawford receives the Florida Bar’s President Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service to the Poor in the 17th Judicial Circuit.

1990

Mr. Crawford becomes attorney, shareholder, director and vice president of McDonald & Crawford, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

1993

Mr. Crawford serves as general counsel for Deerfield Beach Housing Authority.

2001

Mr. Crawford serves as president of the Lauderdale Historical Society.

2004

Mr. Crawford is named Citizen of the Year in the City of Fort Lauderdale.

2005

Mr. Crawford becomes Special Counsel to the Town of Dave, Florida.

2005

Mr. Crawford receives the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Initiative Local Heroes Award.

2006

Mr. Crawford serves as a historian for the History Channel television show, “Modern Marvels.”

2007

Mr. Crawford authors the award-winning book, “Florida’s Big Dig: The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway from Jacksonville to Miami 1881 to 1935.”

2008

June 10th is named William G. Crawford, Jr. Appreciation Day by the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County.

2017

Mr. Crawford is a scheduled speaker at the Annual Gathering of Mensa International at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
