1943

Mr. Rosoff is born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Herbert and Estelle Rosoff.

1964

Mr. Rosoff receives a Bachelor of Science with high honors from Temple University.

1965

Mr. Rosoff becomes an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

1967

Mr. Rosoff graduates magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, receiving a Bachelor of Laws (later converted into a Doctor of Jurisprudence). He also becomes a law clerk for Honorable Abraham L. Freedman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

1968

Mr. Rosoff becomes an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.

1969

Mr. Rosoff becomes an associate at Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen.

1970

Mr. Rosoff marries Beverly Rae Rifkin.

1975

Mr. Rosoff becomes a partner at Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen.

1976

Mr. Rosoff becomes a member and later associate reporter of the Consultant’s Group on the American Law Institute’s Federal Income Tax Project to make proposals on the taxation of partners.

1977

Mr. Rosoff becomes an outside adviser to the U.S. Treasury Department and a member of the Legal Activities Policy Board of Tax Analysts.

1983

Mr. Rosoff becomes a member of the tax advisory board of CCH Incorporated and an editorial board member of the Journal of Partnership Taxation.

1987

Mr. Rosoff becomes chairman of the executive committee of Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen.

1990

Mr. Rosoff serves as a trustee at RPS Realty Trust.

1994

Mr. Rosoff becomes a tax advisory board member of Little, Brown and Company of Hachette Book Group, Inc.

1996

Mr. Rosoff becomes vice chairman of the board of directors at Advanta Corp. and serves as a trustee at Atlantic Realty Trust.

1997

Mr. Rosoff becomes chairman of the board of directors of RMH Teleservices, Inc.

1999

Mr. Rosoff takes on the added role of president of Advanta Corp.

2005

Mr. Rosoff serves on the board of visitors of the Fox School Business at Temple University (later renamed Dean’s Council).

2011

Mr. Rosoff becomes counsel at Dechert LLP and joins the board of directors of the Rothman Institute Orthopaedic Foundation.

2017

Mr. Rosoff is admitted to New York state bar and, with Beverly Rosoff, is the recipient of the Martin D. Ginsburg Award from the Cedille Chicago, NFP.
