1949

Mr. Barron is born in Newnan, Georgia to Lindsey Hand and Genet Louise Barron.

1966

Mr. Barron is elected president of the student body of Newnan High School.

1968

Mr. Barron obtains a Georgia real estate salesman’s license.

1971

Mr. Barron receives a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University.

1973

Mr. Barron marries Margaret Rose MacLennan in Charleston, South Carolina.

1974

Mr. Barron receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mercer University, passes the Georgia State Bar exam, and becomes an associate at Sanders, Mottola, Haugen, Wood, Goodson and Odom.

1977

Mr. Barron becomes vice president of Lindsey’s, Inc. and president of Coweta Developers, Inc.

1978

Mr. Barron obtains a Georgia real estate broker’s license.

1980

Mr. Barron becomes president of the Newnan Coweta Chapter of the American Red Cross.

1982

Mr. Barron becomes president of Newnan-Coweta United Way.

1984

Mr. Barron becomes president of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors and the Newnan Kiwanis Club.

1991

Mr. Barron is named Realtor of the Year by the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors and he joins the Board of Directors of the Georgia Multiple Listing Service.

1992

Mr. Barron becomes the director and secretary-treasurer of Newnan Hospital.

1994

Mr. Barron becomes chairman of the board of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce.

1997

Mr. Barron becomes chairman of the board of Newnan Hospital.

1999

Mr. Barron receives the Phoenix Award from the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors.

2006

Mr. Barron becomes the vice president of the Georgia Multiple Listing Service.

2009

Mr. Barron becomes the state director of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors.

2011

Mr. Barron receives the Crystal Phoenix Award from the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors.

2013

Mr. Barron receives the Silver Phoenix Award from the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors.
