Mr. Hawthorne marries Frances Carol Foote.

Mr. Hawthorne completes his studies in education at the Ohio State University, where he earns a Bachelor of Science.

Mr. Hawthorne joins South Euclid-Lyndhurst City Schools in Lyndhurst, Ohio as a music specialist, a position he holds for nearly 30 years.
1968
Mr. Hawthorne begins serving as a choir director with Southern Euclid-Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
1970
Mr. Hawthorne earns a Master of Art from Case Western Reserve University.
1995
Mr. Hawthorne retires as a music educator.
