Dr. Byeff receives a Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University and begins a medical internship at George University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Byeff becomes a resident in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Byeff becomes a visiting fellow in hematology and oncology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, New York.

Dr. Byeff becomes a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell oncology fellow at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
