Born to Helen and Stephen Cucura in Peckville, PA.

1961

Earns a diploma in nursing and is honored as Best Bedside Nurse.

1963

Marries Jerome Peter on May 11.

1966

Earns a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

1972

Achieves a master’s degree in educational psychology from Temple University.

1973

Is a teacher of nursing at community colleges through 1987.

1981

Receives an award for the poem “Brave Man.”

1988

Obtains a Doctor of Philosophy from Temple University.

1988

Is a teacher of nursing at Temple University until 2003.

1989

Is an ombudsman at Temple University until 1994.

1989

Earns certification in International Consult from Human Caring Healing at the University of Colorado and again in 1991 and 1993.

1992

Attains a Master of Science in organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.

2003

Teaches at Bucks County Community College until 2007, where she launched the practical nursing program.
