Is born to Hai and Gerda Bers in Tel Aviv, Israel.

1961

Marries Chaim Katz.

1963

Becomes a licensed occupational therapist in Israel.

1981

Earns a Doctor of Philosophy in health education from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.

1988

Serves as the editor of “Occupational Therapy Mental Health CL.”

1990

Becomes chairman of graduate programs at the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Occupational Therapy through 2002.

1991

Serves as chair of the Israeli Society of Occupational Therapy through 1997.

1992

Contributes to “Cognitive Rehabilitation: Models for Intervention in Occupational Therapy.”

1997

Receives the Excellence in Lectureship Award from the Israeli Society of Occupational Therapy.

2002

Becomes a professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

2005

Is the editor of “Cognition & Occupation Across the Life Span: Models for Intervention in Occupational Therapy.”

2007

Is a researcher and chair of the Research Center at Ono Academic College in Kiryat Ono, Israel, and currently maintains this role.
