Ms. Hale receives a Bachelor of Science from D.C. Teachers College.

1968

Ms. Hale becomes an elementary teacher for D.C. Public Schools in Washington, D.C.

1973

Ms. Hale is appointed director of Home Day Care Center in Columbia, Maryland.

1977

Ms. Hale receives a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University.

1977

Ms. Hale becomes an elementary teacher and then resource teacher for the gifted and talented for Howard County Public Schools in Columbia, Maryland.

1981

Ms. Hale is named Outstanding Superintendent by Breath of Life Church.

1982

Ms. Hale receives the Community Service Award from United Way of Central Maryland.

1986

Ms. Hale serves as a consultant and tutor at Village Reading Center in Columbia, Maryland.

1990

Ms. Hale becomes an elementary teacher for Cherry Hill Public Schools in New Jersey.

1994

Ms. Hale becomes First Lady of Wright State University.
