Earns a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Scranton.

1962

Is a research assistant in sociology while conducting postgraduate coursework at the University of Pittsburgh through 1963.

1964

Serves in various assistant to professor and director roles at Columbia University through 1966.

1966

Is a research assistant at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business until 1967.

1968

Is a lecturer, assistant, associate and full professor of management at the University of Maryland Business School until 1977.

1969

Obtains a Doctor of Philosophy in industrial relations and management from Columbia University.

1977

Is chair of faculty management and organization and acting associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Maryland Business School until 1979.

1981

Is a professor and mgmt. director at the University of Maryland Center for Knowledge Management and Global Business until 2003, 2015 & 2017.

1983

Serves the editorial revised boards of the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of International Business Education through 2001.

1985

Is a grantee of the Small Business Administration through 1989.

1988

Is a John F. Kennedy Foundation/Fulbright professor at Thammasat University in Thailand.

1992

Teaches as a visiting professor in Germany, England, Ireland and Italy through 1998.

1997

Is academy director of the University of Maryland’s International Management and Compliance Training Program, continuing in the role.
