Ms. Jones is born in Zanesville, Ohio to Mark Andrew Wiseman and Elizabeth Wiseman Doughty.

1962

Ms. Jones receives a Bachelor of Science in education from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio, and becomes a teacher at Newton Elementary for the Maysville Local District in Zanesville, Ohio.

1962

Ms. Jones becomes an elementary teacher for Zanesville City Schools in Zanesville, Ohio.

1967

Ms. Jones becomes a reading specialist for Zanesville City Schools.

1973

Ms. Jones receives the Outstanding Elementary Teacher Award.

1975

Ms. Jones co-authors “Diagnosis for Reading.”

1984

Ms. Jones receives a Master of Education from Ohio University Zanesville, where she also becomes a reading instructor.
