Born in Youngstown, Ohio to William Marshall and Joanne Norma Speece.

1973

Becomes a physical education instructor at St. Joseph School in Campbell, Ohio.

1974

Graduates cum laude from Kent State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in education.

1975

Becomes a program director of the YMCA in Youngstown, Ohio.

1985

Becomes an exercise technician at Youngstown State University.

1986

Becomes a health educator at Park Vista Retirement Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

1987

Becomes a teacher for the Salem City School District.

1988

Becomes a recreational therapist at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

1989

Becomes a Master of Science in education from Youngstown University.

1993

Produces “Exercise is the Foundation of Youth.”

1998

Receives the First Place Kodak International Newspaper Snapshot Award.

1999

Exhibits in a group show at Forum Health.
