1980

Earns a Bachelor of Science in astronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

1981

Completes U.S. Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona.

1982

Completes U.S. Air Force F-4E and F-4G Wild Weasel fighter aircraft training at George Air Force Base in California.

1985

Achieves a Master of Business Administration in management from Golden Gate University; Receives a U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal.

1987

Receives an Air Force Achievement Medal and is named 601st ASOG Junior Officer of the Year by the U.S. Air Force.

1989

Is named Flight Commander of the Year of the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing, by the U.S. Air Force.

1990

Completes USAF F-15E Strike Eagle fighter aircraft training at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

1991

Receives two Air Medals, two Aerial Achievement Medals, a Kuwait Campaign Medal and a Southwest Asia Medal from the U.S. Air Force.

1992

Is honorably discharged from U.S. Air Force, as a Major (O-4) and receives a U.S. Air Force Meritorious Service Medal.

1992

Is a systems engineer/software engineer of the F-15 Avionics Integration Support Facility Program for TRW Corporation until 1994.

1993

Is named a Company Top Performer by the TRW Corporation and again in 1994.

1997

Is a software and systems engineer, lead systems engineer and aircraft integration engineer for Raytheon Technologies Corp. until 2003.

1999

Is named Principal Software Engineer, with honors, by Raytheon Technologies Corp. Raytheon Missiles and Defense.

2000

Receives the PEO Quarterly Award from the Program Executive Office for Fighter and Bomber Programs of the U.S. Air Force.

2001

Is a deputy department manager of the System Engineering Center for Raytheon Technologies Corp. until 2006.

2006

Co-authors the Universal Armament Interface (UAI) Platform Store Interface Control Document (PSICD).

2006

Is named a Senior Engineering Fellow in Systems Engineering for Raytheon Technologies Corp. through 2022.
