Receives a Master of Arts in school counseling from the University of Colorado.

1964

Completes 30 hours of postgraduate courses at Indiana University.

1968

Becomes a school counselor for the Washington, D.C. Board of Education.

1995

Retires from her profession.

1996

Becomes a teaching consultant and school counselor at Slowe Elementary School in Washington, D.C.

1996

Becomes a restructuring team member of the Mamie D. Lee School in Washington, D.C.

1999

Joins the board of directors of St. John’s Community Services in Washington, D.C.
