2000

Is inducted into Eta Sigma Gamma, the Health Sciences Honor Society.

2001

Earns a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from James Madison University.

2002

Begins her career at VCU Health System.

2003

Becomes a registered nurse via Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing.

2007

Marries Ashley Lewis Thompson.

2009

Welcomes the birth of her oldest child, Scott Lewis.

2009

Earns both a Master of Science in community nursing and Master of Public Health from Virginia Commonwealth University.

2011

Joins Bon Secours Health System as a clinical educator.

2012

Leads a team developing and launching a nurse residency program for Bon Secours, VA through 2013.

2013

Welcomes the birth of her youngest child, Kevin Brent.

2014

Is promoted to clinical manager of quality within the Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA.

2017

Is an appointee of the School Health Advisory Board in Chesterfield County, VA.

2018

Becomes the manager of quality and compliance at Bon Secours Richmond Hospice and Community Hospice House and remains in this role.

2021

Joins the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps to assist in vaccination efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
