1948

Mr. Thompson receives a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University.

1949

Mr. Thompson becomes a research engineer at the Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio.

1952

Mr. Thompson becomes principal mechanical engineer at the Battelle Memorial Institute.

1971

Mr. Thompson becomes a senior engineer at the Battelle Memorial Institute.

1974

Mr. Thompson becomes a member of the energy technology committee of the Air Pollution Control Association.
