Mr. Berrian is born in Pasadena, California to James Henry and Bette Jo Berrian.

1970

Mr. Berrian serves in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman.

1976

Mr. Berrian receives an Associate of Arts in zoology with honors from Southwestern College.

1978

Mr. Berrian receives a Bachelor of Science in zoology from San Diego State University.

1978

Mr. Berrian becomes senior veterinary technician at Chula Vista Veterinary Clinic in California.

1979

Mr. Berrian receives a postgraduate degree from San Diego State University.

1980

Mr. Berrian becomes an agricultural technician aide for the San Diego County Department of Agriculture.

1981

Mr. Berrian becomes a curatorial assistant, research assistant and field associate in herpetology at the San Diego Natural History Museum.

1984

Mr. Berrian becomes a certified teacher at National University.

1984

Mr. Berrian becomes a science teacher at Emerald Junior High School and later at Montgomery Middle School in El Cajon, California.

1985

Mr. Berrian becomes a science teacher at Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, California.

1989

Mr. Berrian marries Robyn M. Garcia.

Mr. Berrian becomes a field entomologist at the San Diego Natural History Museum and a science teacher at El Cajon Valley High School.

1997

Mr. Berrian becomes an associate in herpetology and entomology at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
