Jack Wilson, Founder, Chairman, A Timeline of Professional Milestones

1925

Mr. Wilson is born in Corning, New York to Paul Fleming and Lois Dorothy Wilson.

1943

Mr. Wilson graduates as salutatorian from Northside High School and attends the V-12 Program at Stevens Technical Institute in Hoboken, New Jersey.

1944

Mr. Wilson joins the Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at Yale University.

1945

Mr. Wilson is commissioned as an Ensign, and becomes an engineering officer and assistant engineer with the U.S. Navy.

1946

Mr. Wilson receives a bachelor’s degree in naval engineering from Yale University and becomes a junior engineer in the manufacturing department of Corning Glass Works.

1948

Mr. Wilson receives a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Yale University.

1967

Mr. Wilson becomes President of  Fermentation Design, which was later acquired by New Brunswick Scientific.

1974

Mr. Wilson founds Associated Bio-Engineers and Consultants (ABEC) Inc., where he serves as chairman of the board.

2013

Mr. Wilson is named Pennsylvania Employer of the Year.

2014

Mr. Wilson is inducted into the Lehigh Valley Business Hall of Fame.

2017

Mr. Wilson is the subject of the biography, “We’ll Think of Something: the Life of Jack Wilson,” published by Real Life Stories, LLC.
