Is an intern in medicine at the New England Center Hospital in Boston, MA.

Is a resident in neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

1967

Marries Ruth Doris Reich on July 20.

1968

Serves as a captain in the United States Air Force until 1970.

1971

Works within a private practice in Houston, TX until 2012.

1986

Teaches as a clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of Texas School of Medicine until 1994.

1986

Serves as the chief of neurology at St. Luke’s Hospital until 2008.

Is appointed professor of neurology at the University of Texas School of Medicine.
