Mr. Finkel is born in New York, New York to Abraham B. and Elizabeth B. Finkel.

1962

Mr. Finkel receives a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.

1962

Mr. Finkel serves in the U.S. Army for five years, rising in the ranks to captain.

1970

Mr. Finkel receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

1970

Mr. Finkel is admitted to practice in the state of South Carolina and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

1970

Mr. Finkel is a founding member of Finkel Law Firm, LLC and Predecessor Firms in Columbia, South Carolina.

1970

Mr. Finkel serves as a lecturer on law and management at the Columbia Junior College of Business.

1973

Mr. Finkel is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States District Court for the Fourth Circuit.

1974

Mr. Finkel becomes a special judge in the Richland County Family Court.

1979

Mr. Finkel serves as a hearing officer for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
