Is a member of the United States Olympic Team in Dubrovnik.

1951

Earns a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Queen’s College.

1951

Marries Vivian Kaplan who passes away on Nov. 26, 2014.

1952

Serves in the US Army through 1954.

1955

Earns a Master of Science in physical chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.

1957

Earns a Doctor of Philosophy with a focus on the interaction between helium and nitrogen from the University of Pennsylvania.

1957

Becomes a senior research associate and research chemist at Exxon Research and Engineering Company (now Exxon Mobil) in Annendale, NJ.

1994

Retires as a U.S. Sr. Master Chess Player.
