Is a medical intern at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in New York City.

Is a psychiatry resident and chief resident at SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse through 1961.

Marries Sandra Ecker Kaplan on May 14.

1961

Begins working as an instructor before becoming a professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse.

Is the co-editor of International Psychiatric Clinics, Volumes 2 and 3.

Serves as a commander within the Medical Corps of the US Navy.
