Dr. Norman is born in St. Louis, Missouri to Isaac Daniel and Elva Pauline Norman.

1964

Dr. Norman receives a Bachelor of Science in physics from the Missouri School of Mines Metallurgy (now Missouri University of Science and Technology).

1964

Dr. Norman serves in the U.S. Army, eventually earning the rank of colonel.

1970

Dr. Norman receives a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

1970

Dr. Norman becomes a teacher and research assistant at Texas A&M University.

1972

Dr. Norman receives a Master of Science in biochemistry from Texas A&M University.

1973

Dr. Norman marries Claudia Ruth Netherton Norman.

1977

Dr. Norman receives a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry from Texas A&M University.

1977

Dr. Norman becomes an instructor at the University of Cincinnati.

1981

Dr. Norman is promoted to assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati.

1985

Dr. Norman becomes president and chief executive officer of Norman Clinical Laboratory, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio.

1992

Dr. Norman becomes director of analytical research at the Monarch Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Norman is awarded The Legion of Merit by the U.S. Army.
