Receives teaching certification in the state of Idaho and begins teaching at various public schools in Idaho.

Receives teaching certification in the state of Oregon.

Begins teaching at various public schools in Portland, Oregon.

Receives a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon.

Receives a Master of Science from the University of Oregon.
1955
Becomes director of teacher education at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.
1958
Becomes the Idaho State president of the Municipal League Auxiliary.
1963
Becomes a school administrator for Portland Public Schools.
1972
Receives a Doctor of Education from the University of Oregon.
1973
Serves as president of the Portland Association of Public School Administrators.
1978
Becomes a fellow of the Charles Kettering Foundation. He also receives a fellowship for six more years.
1981
Authors and designs teacher education degree curriculum for George Fox University.
1982
Becomes director of teacher education and research at George Fox University teacher education program in Newberg, Oregon.

Receives the Golden Gift Award.
1990
Becomes the Oregon State president of Delta Kappa Gamma.

Becomes a professor at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila, Philippians.

Is named an Honored Teacher of Oklahoma and a professor at Southern Nazarene University.

Serves as an adjunct professor at Warner Pacific College and Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
