Dr. Bossen is born in Jacksonville, Florida to Morris William and Sarah Bossen.
1961
Dr. Bossen receives a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.
1965
Dr. Bossen joins the U.S. Army Reserve.
1965
Dr. Bossen receives a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University, where he also completes a medical internship and residency over the next five years.
1970
Dr. Bossen serves in the U.S. on active duty for two years as a Major.
1972
Dr. Bossen becomes a professor of pathology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
2013
Dr. Bossen earns the title of Professor Emeritus.
