Dr. Mayo is elected president of the University Student Council at the University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Mayo graduates from the University of Western Ontario as valedictorian, receiving a Doctor of Medicine.

Dr. Mayo becomes a resident at Latter Day Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
