Dr. Linowes receives a Bachelor of Arts in cybernetics from Princeton University.

1974

Dr. Linowes becomes an affiliate at Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, Ltd. in Osaka, Japan.

1975

Dr. Linowes receives a Master of Science in computer and communication sciences from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Linowes becomes a senior systems analyst at Arthur Anderson & Co. in Washington, D.C.

1978

Dr. Linowes becomes a research assistant at Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.

1983

Dr. Linowes provides consultant services for Goldman Sachs in New York, New York.

1984

Dr. Linowes receives a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard University.

1985

Dr. Linowes serves as an adjunct professor at New York University.

1986

Dr. Linowes becomes Kogod Outstanding Professor of Undergraduate Programs at the Kogod School of Business of American University in Washington, D.C.

1989

Dr. Linowes receives a Fulbright Fellowship for Pedagogical Innovation.

Dr. Linowes serves as editor of “Portraits of Small Business from the Developing World, Management Casebooks, Volume One.” Volumes two, three, four and five are published in 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2010, respectively.

Dr. Linowes becomes an educator at the Foreign Services Institute of the United States Department of State.

Dr. Linowes serves as a visiting professor at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan.

2016

Dr. Linowes becomes a founding professor at Clarewood University in Reston, Virginia.

Dr. Linowes serves as a visiting professor at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel.

2017

Dr. Linowes is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
