Mr. Rice receives a Bachelor of Arts in public and international affairs from Princeton University.

1955

Mr. Rice joins the artillery branch of the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant.

1956

Mr. Rice receives the Freedom Foundation Medal.

1959

Mr. Rice receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan.

1959

Mr. Rice becomes an associate at Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro.

1960

Mr. Rice is admitted to practice in the State of California.

1961

Mr. Rice becomes an associate at Howard & Prim.

1963

Mr. Rice is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Rice becomes principal of Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin.
