Dr. Seamans is born in Lawrence, Kansas to Robert Liddel and Ruth Seamans.

1945

Dr. Seamans serves in the United States Naval Reserve for one year.

1950

Dr. Seamans receives a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

1950

Dr. Seamans becomes a junior engineer at Black and Veatch in Kansas City, Missouri.

1952

Dr. Seamans becomes an assistant at the University of Kansas.

1954

Dr. Seamans becomes an assistant professor at the Washington State University.

1956

Dr. Seamans receives a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

1962

Dr. Seamans is promoted to associate professor at Washington State University.

1968

Dr. Seamans receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Oregon State University.

1984

Dr. Seamans serves as a campus representative for the American Society for Engineering Education.

1988

Dr. Seamans becomes a student branch advisor for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

1992

Dr. Seamans retires from Washington State University.
