Is the director of music at Wenatchee Free Methodist Church until 1981.

Achieves a Master of Arts in music from Central Washington University.

1981

Teaches as a professor of music at Central College in McPherson, KS until 1988.

Is named to Outstanding Young Men of America.

Serves on the board of directors of the McPherson Arts Council until 1987.
